The importance of
Braille
The braille is devised and dedicated
exclusively for blind souls. Having said this, one should understand that
people with vision need not use braille. For blind braille is the only
refuge. If blind are expected to act up like those having vision, then it
will be futile.
This what is meant by sri thirumangai
mannan when he says:
"aDiyOmukkEA emperumAn
allEROA nEr! indhaLUrErEA"
The LOrd is the cause and effect of all
things. However, He manifests Himself into five forms. The parathvam helps the
nithya-sUrigaL. The vyUham the brahmAdhigaL. The vibhavam -dhasarathAdhigaL.
The archAvathAram in the vugandharuLina
nilangaL is meant exclusively for sam-sArigaL, who are
ignorant.
Can the Lord expect behaviour of exalted
souls from them? Then why should not the thiru-indhaLUr Lord give His divine
vision is the query raised by sri kaliyan.
sri periyavAchAn piLLai's commentary is
apt in this regard.
"kurudarkku vaitha
iRaiyiliyilEA, vizhithArkku prApthi illaiyiREA:' pinnAnAr vaNangum sOdhi' ennak
kaDavadhiREA"
The place meant for blind are not for
people with vision. the ArchAvathAram is itself termed as "pinnAnAr vaNangum sOdhi"
Therefore, Oh! Lord of thiru-indhaLUr
please bless me with Your divine vision. Are You not the Lord here meant only
for samsArigaL like us?, is the plea by thirumangai
AzhwAr.
"aDiyOmukkEa
em-perumAn allEROA nEr! indhaLUrErEA"
