SRI: Hare Krishna Dear Prabhu, to your question i hope to give you a bit information well to introduce myself i was born into a shaiva family in Tamil Eelam (Sri Lanka). i follow now the Vaishnava path and this because of full faith in Krishna/Vishnu. All my life i was looking for those questions similar to yours. I was 17 years when i read The Bhagavad Gita As IT IS from A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad,my hole life changed from then. Sri Krishna himself declares to be the Supreme Personality of Godhead in the holy Gita, Bhagavan Krishna says all the other Gods/Godneses are HIS expansions are intened to those Humans who want to live a materialistic life . However if you do want to go back to the Paradise which is mentioned as Krishnaloka/Vaikuntha etc.(many other names exists) than you have to follow in the path of the Gita which means in the Spritual path of life. Well now you could ask, there are so many Gita Visions by so many Authors, which one is the true ONE?? Sri Krishna says only those who are in HIS Guru parampara are entiled to "speak, act" in behalf of HIM. This Guru Parampara is explained by Krishna Himself. There Sri Krishna says who is a REAl Guru of HIS Guru Parampara. I myself read through accidentally the biography of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Prabhupad then read the Bhagavad Gita As IT IS, from him. His life was stunning and is an example for others to follow in Prabhupad footsteps. hope to have given you some information Hare Krishna/Om Namo Vishnue Namaha your servant adiyen Rangan --- In ramanuja@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "Alexandra Kafka" <alexandra.kafka@xxxx> wrote: > Why do the Gaudiya Vaishnavism hold the view that only Krishna is god? > > In Hinduism it is common to regard one's Ishtadevata as supreme and
