pArthan and
ThErthan
The word thErthan refers to purity and pArthan to arjunA. Sri
KrshNA who is supreme gave Himself fully to arjunA and came down for the sake of
PANDAvAs and did all errands for them.
arjunA despite all this wanted to worship
shivA and Sri krshNA obliged him with his thiruvadi and arjuna worshipped
the thriuvadi with flowers. On his dream arjunA had the vision of shivA bearing
the flowers on his head and arjunA realised the Supremacy of the Lord -the thErthan.
