A
few months back when SrI. Sridhar sent this collection of rare pictures,
aDiyEn raised the same doubt. He checked this with SrI. M.N.Srinivasan (who
has access to many temples, and is a writer on temples), who inturn confirmed
that this divyadampathi is Sri LakshmihayagrIva. There might be some reasons
for this!
As this is an interesting question, let us pose this to the
residents of Medavakkam (or Chennai), or those who visited this
temple.
