Forwarding one of Ramanuja Bhaktas mail,

===================================
You pretty well know there are 3 basic ?thathvas? in
our philosophy. One Easwara thathva and only one can
be considered as Easwara. No doubt it is Emperuman
only.

Second ?Achethana vargam? or matter which cannot
express itself. Definetely ?Thayar? will not fit in
this catogery.

Next is ?Chethana vargam? or jeevas.
The problem is how ?Thayar? can be included in
this category? Is it not below her dignity?
Is it not injustice?
Is she inseparable like ?Siamese twins??

There is a sutra in ?Mumukshuppadi?
Sutra:41 athra bagavathSEnApathimisrar vAkyam: "avan
mArbai vittup piriyal ivvaksharam vittup pirivathu".
Piratti has been accomadated in Emperuman?s chest
This should be taken to mean that Piratti is dear to
Emperuman and she always resides in his thoughts.
Otherwise how the following facts can be justified?

In Ramavathar she was separated by Ravana and was in
Lanka for ten months.
Again she was sent to forest by Rama himself. On the
third occasion, when Rama asked her to prove her
?Ananyarhathvam? she departed from him once for all.
In archavatharam, there is a pasuram?Akalakillen
Iraiyum enru Alarmel mangai urai marba'.

This is with reference to Lord Sreenivasa of Tirumalai
hills. In fact the lord is in Thirumalai and Thayar
is in Thiruchanoor far away from the hills..
There are separate sannadhis for Thayar in many
temples.
So, the point of ?inseparability? should be taken to
mean their thoughts are identical and one cannot
think in variance with the other. This stand can be
proved very easily.
Rama was always thinking of Sita only. His anguish
is well exhibited in Ramayana that he did not take
food properly and did not have sleep properly while
Piratti was away in Lanka. Similarly Sita Piratti has
also exhibited her feelings that she will not live
long if Rama did not recue her quickly.

You may refer to Sutra 112 of Sreevachanabhooshanam
?Anasooyaikku Piratti arulicheyth vaarthayai smarippathu?

Here Piratti informs that her love towards Rama is a
natural one. It is not on account of his character
etc., as believed by ordinary people.
So, their love towards each other was so intimate
and mutual that it can be termed, as they are
inseparable wherever they are.
Now the objection remains that it is not befitting
to Piraatti in Jeevas category.

Let us examine this position also.
>From the angle of ?Thatva? out of 3 options, two are ruled out.
The one remaining is this only. Jeeva category. Will
it be wrong to include Piratti in this category?
Who are Jivas?
1. Nithya soori who have no birth at all.
2. Mumukshus who were jeevathams from some time and
later got released from samsara.
3. Other jeevathmas who toil in samsara forever.
Piratti will not fit in the cases 2and 3.
She is above Nithyasooris and has a unique place.

She is Acharya for all jeeva vargam and her Acharyan
is Emperuman only.
Let us consider Stotra 38 &39 of stotra ratna by
Alavandhar wherin the description of Piratti is given.

Pirati and Perumal are made for each other and she
is being entertained by strange wonderful pleasant
leelas. She is seated in Seshaasanam with Emperuman.
Again let us consider ?Chatus sloki? by Alavandar,
entire 4 slokas dedicated to Piratti only. She is
worshipped by all devathas and their wives are her
attendants. Even Emperuman may not know her
greatness. The world would not have born with out
her consent of merciful glance of her eyes.
Emperuman does everything as per her wishes, which
he understands automatically and so on.
In fact Piratti is ?swroopa nirupaka bhoothai ?of
Emperuman.
When we say? Jasmine flower?, it means white flower
with inseparable pleasant aroma which cannot be
seperated from the flower.

Again, when say a lighted lamp, the rays coming out
of the lamp and the other components of lamp are
inseparable.

So, Piratti though, physically separate from
Emperuman, she is part and parcel of his very
existence and holds an exalted position which no
body has. In noway, she need be confused with
ordinary jeevas toiling in samsara.

Adiyen Ramanuja dasan,
