Dear Sriman Hari,

I am neither an elder nor trying to enlighten, but would like to
share you the simplciity and universality of Srivaishnavism.

In Ramanuja sampradayam, mukti/liberation is cheaper than it is
protrayed/interpreted in the texts you refer to as "Shastras". The
only prerequsite is Lord's will to grant it. One may say this sounds
illogical, but those who are blessed are blessed without logic, says
Nammazhwar (verdihE aruL seivar - translated by Vedanthacharya as
atarkita anugrahatvam).

Devotion, accepting a great Bhagavata as one's guru and following
his words are His sweet blessings and true to our nature, not any
means to reach Him. Not consuming liquor, meat etc. is for our good
health. There were even "Svapachas" or dog-eaters who were mahA
vasihNavOttamas, but that is not the general practice!
