Dear BhAgavatas, I don't think it is necessary to try to make such analysis. Even zoologically it is agreed that animals have evolved. So why talk about it from our time's reference. For example, it is said that Gajendra and the crocodile fougt for 1000 years - this would also be an impossibility from today's knowledge. Who knows what changes that both animals as well as time itself have undergone? Instead, I think we should try to understand what the message that this parable is teaching us (and importantly inculcates in young minds as this story is told to children). adiyEn TCA Venkatesan --- devaraj kandadai <dkandadai@xxxx> wrote: > Respected moderator, > > My point is that it is impossible > for an elephant's leg to be gripped by a crocodile; > this is a zooological impossibility.Perhaps an expert > in this field can be consulted. > With dandan samarpanam > > Devarajsa Dasan > > [Msg From moderator: Gajendra Moksham is accepted by the > faithful > for those who want to speculate, feel free to do so, No > body is > stopping you. > Same applies to existance of God ] > > > __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
