Jai Sri Krishna,
I totaly agree with Sriman Kidambi Soundararajan.  I am a British born Hindu of Gujerati Origin.  I have become very attracted to the teachings of the Alavars and Sri Ramanuja. However It was the books of Srila Prabhupada that i initialy became attracted to Vaishnavism, i had previously Read many Books on Advaita, however these did no appeal to me.  Here in the UK The Gaudiya Vaishnavas have done so much to spread the teachings of Geeta and Bhagavatam, one of my most blissfull expreinces of my life so far has been to have Darshan of Sri Sri Radha Golkulananda at the ISKCON headquarters (Bhaktivedanta manor) just outside London.  Also more relavant to this topic it was the Gaudiya Bhakthas who told me about the Glories and importance of Sri Ramanuja and Sri Sampradayam.

As a British Hindu who can only speak simple Gujerati and some Hindi, i often find the articles on Sri Vaishnavism hard to understand as it is largely aimed at a Tamil/southern audience.  I would love to see more books written by Sri Vaishnava Acharyas which are simple for North Indians and Westerners like my self to understand.  The Sri Vaishnava Sampradaya is like a shining lamp hidden in a dark box, this box needs to be opened to reavel the divine light to the whole world

Jai Sri Krishna

The ability to reach one and all is very important. Use of simple yet effective language to be able to reach both the educated and illiterate alike  would be the best way to attract more people to the fold and expand the Sampradayam.

That is why speakers like Sri Vanamamalai Jeeyer Swami, Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami, Sri Velukkudi Swami are able to attract people to our sampradaya.

Also, there is a big necessity for simple books on our Sampradayam, unfortunately many of the Sri Vaishnava literature that I've perused so far seemed to be catered for the Iyengars or people with adequate sanskrit/tamil language. Swami Prabhupada was able to make ISKCON a global Vaishnva Giant mainly because of his books and thus, his ability to appeal to everyone.

Jai Srimannarayana Guna,

ghostis are amazing when HH Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji conducts them.
Daily over twenty thousand to forty thousand devotees attend them.
When HH Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji conducts Sri Vishnu Sahasranama or special events over Eight Hundred Thousand devotees attended the function daily. For the events during pushkaras millions of devotees attended the functions.

Gita Jyothi functions millions and millions from thousands of villages attended the function.

I think the approach and universality are key....
Jai Srimannarayana!

Swamin
Adiyen agree with you totally that in today's context the Kalakshebam style is fast depleting , think its mainly due to

1) Time factor, people wish to know lot in small time , also not going in to deep and analysing why author said so etc

2)Knowldege of the recepients in Sanskrit or manipravalam is not that much (as compared to earlier era)

3) Interest shown by the people is only selected few ,we used see only selcted crowds even for upanyasams , for Grantha Kalakshebams it will be still worse

4) Also adiyen feel we should try to reach more people with simple meanings in diff languages

here my feeling is not to hurt any individual or group but general apprehension how much our sampradayan has percolated to the people

Though this is the easiest one to adopt with nothing in our side to make it all in His hands , still the count is low compare to other religions

Sorry for disturbing the bhAghavadas
