Srimathe ramanujaya Namaha
It is nice that you have come forward to extend your helping hand.
It is actually a very important duty of each and every srivaishnava
to take care of our acharyas. Adiyen's first suggestion to you will
be to take samasrayanam that will make all our acharyas happy. All
acharyas get strength only due to the shisya samrudhdhi. Even if
you havent taken samasrayanam you can always help them and you can
go and take their blessings at any time. Our acharyas are always
waiting to bless all the interested devotees. Swamy manavala
mAmunikal says, "Acharyan chichan Aruyirai pEnumavan dEsArum chichan
avan seer vadivai" that is the acharya takes care of the upliftment
of the athma, he guides the jeeva in the right path intellectually
whereas the shisya has to take care of the acharyas physical body.
since a sanyasi has a lot of restriction it is a duty of the
gruhasta to take care. Moreover the shisya submits all his wealth
and himself to his acharya and lives only as per the wish of hte
acharya. So the acharya takes care of the athma raksha and the
shisya takes care of the body of the acharya (as long as in this
world the thirumeni of the acharya has to be taken care of).
