Dear Bhagavathas, This is with refernce to Sri Sudharsan's mail where he has mentioned 'So HanumAn is worshipped as "Chinna Thiruvadi" in temples, just like "Periya Thiruvadi"(Garudhazvaar)'. In this consequence I wish to bring forth a small point with respect to the "Thiruvadis". Recently I had an opportunity to go through a book "Anumanin Sirappum Siruper Azhaippum" written by one Shri.D.Rangachari Swamy of Srirangam. The purpose of his writing this small book is to bring out the false mention of calling Hanuman as "Siriya Thiruvadi". Though both Garudalwar and Hanuman are referred to as Thiruvadis in our sampradaya the name "Periya Thiruvadi" has been given to Garudalwar as he is one among the Nithya Suris. But Hanuman is not mentioned as "Siriya Thiruvadi" as an opposite but only as "Thiruvadi". For that he has given a number of pramanams of our Purvacharyas who have hailed Hanuman as 'Thiruvadi'. So he has requested at the end of his book not to mention Hanuman anymore as Siriya Thiruvadi.
