Hello all,

I would not know how many of us had an oppurtunity to
play "Parama Padam" with the dice..or the other method
of using "Dayam"

This game I remember is normally played around
Vaikunda Ekadasi Day...Normally my grand mother was
very fond of this game and will call of us when we are
young to play this game. It was a great event going to
Triplicane to collect this picture and also buy other
play items along with that.

This picture of "Paramapadam" when I revisited and had
a closer look it reveals a pictorial description of
the thing we do in this life.

The serpants are the evils "Wrong moves" we do in this
life and so are the ladders that help in the "right"
moves..

In each serpant square we have the details of the
wrong move that has led to that square and so are the
ladders. I hope we all get back to this dice game of
Parama Padam and explain to our off springs of the do
and donts in a pictorial way as well.

let us do our little part...

Suresh
