DearBag awathas, I have seen sevearal responses to the query on use of the
term -dasi-.It seems we are fighting shy of saying that this term is commonly
used by tamilians to mean a servent maid and much worse a prostittute,Devadasi
also has fallen into disrepute.
Similarly adiyal in tamil circles means a mercenery. and not the female
form for adiyen or adiyar .Let us respect common usage and not offend anyone.
Why waste time on such trivia?He alone is male and wqe are all His females.
