I read THE MOVIE GOER when a freshman at Georgetown in Sep 1962 [ it was NOT assigned reading] and all subsequent work as published; I have been an acolyte ever since. I have also read Lucshei, also the M.D. from Harvard whose name escapes me now, also Tolson, and a couple of others whose books I gleaned from LSU Press catalogues . Years later I was a patient of the late Les Farber, M.D. who exchanged letters with WP. Other connections - my late wife [who attended Loyola in N.O.and GU] once interviewed the fellow who wrote the '' Father Abraham '' essay which is anthologized. I forget his name too. Anyway she tried to get her law firm to hire him but it didn't work out. Later, I got to know Frank Hardart, M.D. and his wife Fran on a trip to Lourdes with the Knights of Malta in 1990 [I was paralyzed while in the military in 1969]. They told me they would introduce me to Bunt but Frank was ill and it never worked out. I have also read WAP's ''Lanterns'' and ''Collected!
Poems ''

Finally, while stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, my wife and I made a pilgrimage to the intersection of King's Hwy. and Lindell Blvd. in St.Louis. How many others have done THAT?!%10%10%10I live in Southampton, NY, practice law, raise a 9 year old son and pretend to write a novel which is shamelessly stolen from '' LOVE IN THE RUINS''%10%10%10%10%10%10%10%10%10%10%10I would love to hear from anyone interested in the above.%03
