Walker Percy has had a profound influence on my thought and approach to the world. His novels, especially Love in the Ruins, addressed concerns with such precision that it was no surprise to later read interviews in which he discussed the diagnostic function of his work. His fiction is proof that much of the cure often lies in the diagnosis. I am, therefore, as a newcomer to this medium, more than a little excited to find this resource.

As for myself, I now live in Michigan after having spent several years each in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C. and Denver. I write short stories in yearly streaks, and you can find the latest ones in the online magazine Ruby's Pearls, located at <http://www.gate.net/~ruby>, beginning with issue 60. Even more importantly, I would be most interested to establish contact via e-mail with anyone interested in this project and all of the many related subjects it entails. I encourage anyone interested to drop a note to me at my e-mail address.
