What I really appreciate about WP is that he raises many of the questions that have ended up being important to me as I get older (into my forties). The old values in the modern world and whether any of that matters -- especially in a world besotted with money, money, money and money -- are moving more to the center of what I think about when I'm not trying to make money or being driven crazy by my family. I think the best way to study literature is to read essays while you read the novels. Explanations from people who are smart, alert and well-trained (I am none of these things) really help to turn on the lights. So keep adding the critical essays! Thanks for creating this website.
