God Hid His Face
Selected Poems of RAJZEL ZYCHLINSKY

Of All the Faces

Of all the faces that tossed me about
all through the day,
one face is left
to which I am anchored.

Of all the voices
that outshouted me,
one voice is left
in which I tremble.

From all the paths that led me
astray,
one town emerged,
with its streets,
squares,
and tunnels.
