The relevant portion of Luke 10:27
ἀγαπήσεις κύριον τὸν θεόν σου ἐξ ὅλης [τῆς] καρδίας σου καὶ ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ ψυχῇ σου καὶ ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ ἰσχύϊ σου καὶ ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ διανοίᾳ σου
I understand the instrumental use of ἐν (which is basically what I see going on here) but I'm interested in the function of ἐξ specifically in contrast to ἐν.

Perhaps source. The meanings are pretty and regardless of their nuances the meaning is pretty clear. Deut 6:5 LXX uses ἐξ ὅλης throughout and only has the first three substantives, with δύναμις instead for the third one.
