Halcomb - Ready for Greek: The Alphabet, Key Words, & Verses with Jesus & Mark

Post by Matthew Longhorn »

I am not sure what level of books to post about here and would appreciate feedback if you find these posts useful. Is this kind of beginner level book likely to be useful for some people, or should I try to keep things to at least beginner level grammars like Mounce, and anything more advanced than that?

Want to learn Biblical Greek? This is the ideal place to begin. This Tier 1 resource is a fun and simple picture book where students begin with the letters of the Greek alphabet, progress to individual words, and then level up to reading entire verses of Scripture. Best of all, throughout the book, Jesus is front and center and Greek passages of Scripture, drawn from Mark’s Gospel, are introduced immediately. This book contains writing, reading, and speaking activities. Even more, you can get the companion audio files to go along with the book at GlossaHouse.com.

I learnt through going through Duff's book and it covered all the essentials pretty well. Didn't look at actual text till end of the year and found that suited my learning style.
