Project Archivist.  The Grolier Club of New York.

The Grolier Club of New York, the country's oldest bibliophile society,
seeks a temporary, part-time archivist to process the newly-acquired papers
of the American Booksellers Association of America (ABAA), consisting of
approximately 30 linear feet of material.  The project includes sorting,
arranging, and description, basic conservation, and creation of a finding
aid.  20 hrs./week for approx. 6 months, $14-$16/hr.

Qualifications: Required: Experience processing archival collections; basic
computer skills; good writing skills.  Desired: Experience with archival
processing software; elementary knowledge of preservation techniques;
background or interest in the American book trade.
