Medical history research question

I am a graduate student at Western Washington University and am currenlty
preparing a paper on the role of the US Medical Corps during World War
Two, concentrating on the operations of field hospitals.

I am looking for any primary documentation on this subject, expecially
memoirs or oral histories written my veterens who were either in the
Medical Corps as doctors, nurses, etc., or who were treated and commented
on that treatment.

Does anyone know of any collection that contains accounts of medical
service during the war? I would appreciate any help you could give.
Thank you.

PS. Please reply to the address below as I do not have direct access to
this listserv. Thanks again,
