The only experience I have had was an admittedly short open house at a vendor
here in NYC.  My only concern with the system was they seemed intended mainly as
a high-speed proposition.  That basically meant they hooked up scanners that do
30-50 pages per minute.  This is great if you're scanning current stuff, but a
big concern if you're dealing with older, more fragile materials.

I would just be sure that your vendors are aware of the delicate nature of your
collections before they scan.
