As a librarian, I would recommend Spicq although he doesn't cover every
word. He has the advantage of being fairly recent, and like Balz and
Schneider's Exegetical Dictionary, he is arranged by the Greek word, rather
than by the English word like Colin Brown's NIDNTT. Although Kittel's work
is ponderous, may suffer from some linguistical theory fallacies, and from
what I consider liberal theology, it is still an amazing work and should be
consulted. It is not a case of "either/ or" but rather a case of "both/
and". Anything that gives me more infomation exegetically is to be desired.
And may I say that $50.00 is an excellent price for it
