My take on EPIBALLW:
* I find the AcCordance definition an uncharactistic usage in the NT
* "siezed" seems like it "makes sense" with the other usages but seems a bit
strained
Most of the uses and the etymology seem to imply laying one thing upon
another.
EPIBALLW is a cognate with PERIBALLW which is a veil thrown around the
shoulders.
In the LXX it was used to translate PARASH in Numbers 4:6.
Might Peter have thrown something over himself in shame??!
"Throwing [something] over [his head], he wept."
