My question concerns
Col 1:20
KAI DI AUTOU APOKATALASSAXAI TA PANTA EIS AUTON EIRENOPOIESAS DIA TOU
HAIMATOS TOU STAUROU AUTOU EITE TA EPI TES GES EITE TA EN TOIS OURANOIS
Col 1:20
20And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to
reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things
in earth, or things in heaven.
and the aorist infinitive apokatallaxai (to reconcile) It appears to be
an infinitive of purpose. Does the aorist mean we are to look at it as a
past time event
