Hi Richard, Daniel, Clay, et alii,
Are we talking about something like the Loeb Classical Library's Select
Papyri (vols. I and II), Greek texts edited by GPGould, with
translations by ASHunt and CCEdgar (Cambridge: Harvard U. Press,
1932/1988 & 1934/1977)? They contain prose writings of all kinds, from
letters and correspondence, to government edicts and notices of
meetings, to judicial business and petitions, to horoscopes and oracular
inquiries. Or, by "Hellenistic prose" do you mean major literary works,
such as those from the pre-Koine period; Homer, &C?
