I do not like the idea of "Law-people" here. What is being
contrasted is not WHO (Law-people), but HOW... EK PISTEWS.
The BASIS or MEANS is at the forefront. The inheritance
is not "based" on the Law, nor does one obtain it "by means
of" the Law. But... EK PISTEWS.

Mark, I agree. But in the context of Rom 4, there is no
distinction between WHO and HOW. If a Gentile gets circumcised
(HOW) it means that he becomes a Jew (WHO), a member of the Law-people,
the people defined by Torah. In the context of Rom 4, "those of
the Law" are the same as "the circumcision", the Jewish people.
If only the Law-people gets inheritance, the promised to Abraham
cannot be fulfilled. The promise is that Abraham will be
the father of all nations.
