Jonathan:
I think you meant Jn 10:30.
The context of this verse suggests the oneness (hEN) is a oneness in
purpose, that purpose being identifed in verses 26-30 as a keeping of the
sheep. These are the ones who hear the words of Jesus (27a), who are
known by Christ (27b), who follow Him (27c), who are given eternal life
(28), and who are kept both by Christ and the Father from being snatched
of their hands (28b-29). They are one in the purpose of keeping such
sheep eternally secure.
