sirs:
I recently came across a copy of the twefth book of Homer's Oddyssey use as a
text for High School Greek students first published in 1899. I found this at
www.textkit.com . At the end of the book is a section called "word-groups".
This is a listing of significant words grouped by a common root. For
example: the 10th group is
hAL, salt, sea
hALS, sea, 27
hALIEUS, seaman, 251
hALMUROS, salty, 236
WKU-ALOS, swift sailing, 182
(The number is the line number where the word is used.)
Do any of you know of a similar list of "word-groups" for the vocabulary of
the New Testament and or LXX? I would be very inrested in finding such a
list.
