[B-Greek] John 1:12-13 - translating the participle

I (without thinking too deeply about this) referred to Jesus' lifetime because the context of 1:10-1:14 seemed to be re: Jesus' earthly sojourn.
I agree with you that it may be invalid to restrict the time frame of 1:12-13 to those who received Him during His human existence, rather than to the time preceding the writing of the Gospel.
