The other matter broached yesterday was the notion of producing and posting
a web version of Funk's textbook, _A Beginning-Intermediate Grammar of
Hellenistic Greek_. I'm attempting to contact Funk to seek his blessing for
such a project; we shall see whether anything more comes of this. I
continue to think that this was a real "breakthrough" work in the
presentation of how Hellenistic Greek works--the nearest thing to the sort
of revolution in the categories in which Greek is conceived such as Clay
Bartholomew used to yearn for earnestly. Of course it's possible that
others who have seen it don't feel quite so enthusiastically as I do (but
then I'm used to having enthusiasms that others don't share!). We shall see
what comes of it.

If
1. We can get Funk's imprimature
2. Someone who has or has access to the work can scan it into readable images
then I would be able to enter it into unicode (including any possible stray
Hebrew)
and
I rather imagine Harry Plantinga would be quite eager to put it up on the
CCEL.
