I see the forward didn't work so I'll paste the information in.

George,

If you think it appropriate you might forward this to the B-Greek group.  I
seem to have fallen off that list.

An Invitation -- Lenten Greek Reading

http://pub4.ezboard.com/fsjdchristianeducationforumfrm35

Quite a number of people for quite a number of years have been meeting
together with me in cyber-space to read through the entire Greek New
Testament during the 40 days of Lent. Many of us have found it to be an
exceptionally helpful spiritual discipline.

If you're interested, you are invited. You can read from any edition of the
Greek New Testament (GNT) which you want. You can have any level of ability
with the language at all. There are experts. There are novices. All are
welcome.

The basic point is to read the assigned texts for each day on schedule and
to offer occasional thoughts about the texts of the day. These thoughts can
be grammatical, lexical, syntactical, text-critical, theological,
inspirational, whatever strikes you as interesting.

We're all busy people so there is no expectation that participants will make
written contributions every day. Rather, the baseline is that you are doing
the reading on schedule. The hope is that occasionally you might post
something of interest to the rest of us.

That's all there is to it. It couldn't be simpler.

The schedule for this year's Lenten Reading is below. Let me know what you
think. I put this particular schedule together myself. If it doesn't work
well, we will revert to another schedule for 2004.

Take a minute and sign up with EZ-board so you can post to the discussion.
This is simple, free and entirely private. You can even conceal your
identity if you are so inclined. But if you don't sign up, you can't post to
the discussion. Please take a minute and do it.

blessings,

Bill+
