[B-Greek] question about regularly occurring acronymns

Hey Devin,

It looks like your question about BDAG was answered, and you are correct
about LXX, it does stand for the Septuagint (the LXX--Roman Numeral for
70--is with reference to the seventy or so translators involved).

Another common acronymn is BDF, which stands for the classic Grammar by
Blass and DeBrunner and updated by Funk.  An up and comer is GGBB, which is
for Dan Wallace's Intermediate Grammar entitled Greek Grammar Beyond the
Basics.  You might also see UBS4, NA27 (or another number attached to the
UBS or NA), MT or TR.   These stand for, respectively

1. United Bible Society 4th edition Greek New Testament
2. Nestle-Aland 27th Edition Novum Testamantum Graece
3. The Majority Text
4. The Textus Receptus

You may already know these, but you asked for any other relevant acronymns
having to do with the discussion group here that occur frequently.
