Westcott [ Westcott, B.F. 1984 repr. On the Epistle to the Hebrews. Grand
Rapids: Eerdmans.] has an interesting note on
MISQAPODOSIA at Hb. 2:2
>> ..and the corresponding personal noun MISQAPODOTHS ... for the
classical MISQODOSIA, MISQODOTHS.
As compared with the corresponding words ANTAPODOSIS ( Col. 3:24 )
ANTAPODOMA ( Lk. 14:12; Ro. 11:9 ) the word appears to emphasize the idea
of an exact requital of good or evil by a sovereign Judge.<<
