[B-Greek] What's the difference between inf.& part.?

The differences are many and varied. For these I refer you to the
standard grammars. But here is a case where they function similarly:

1) ENOMISE TON hRHTORA DIDAXAI TAS GUNAIKAS.
2) EGNW TON hRHTORA DIDAXANTA TAS GUNAIKAS.

1) He supposed that the orator had taught women.
2) He knew that the orator had taught women.
