Dear Colleague:
This message is to inform you of an open-source project to develop a free (free as in speech, not
beer) software application. The application is being designed to access, search, view, and print
the (mostly Classical Greek) texts contained on the TLG 'E' CD.
The application is being developed with the open-source wxWindows GUI framework so that it can
easily be compiled and distributed on multiple os platforms.
Additional information can be found at
http://wxtlg.sourceforge.net/
The project source code can be downloaded at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/wxtlg
At present, the software has only been compiled and tested on Microsoft Windows(TM), but various
*nix and Apple MacIntosh(TM) versions are expected in the near future. (The more developers and
testers that volunteer, the sooner everyone can enjoy the software.)
You are invited to visit the above links, verify the validity of this email, and forward this
message to anyone you believe might be interested.
