There's a splendid resource that just came to my attention only this
morning, although it must have been accessible for some time. Egon Gottwein
has assembled a trove of materials on Greek (Latin also) grammar, readings,
lexicon, history, etc., etc., etc.
http://www.gottwein.de/index.htm
One must do a bit of clicking and clucking but I'd advise clicking first on
the button marked, "Erste Uebersicht" to bring up a table of contents for
the site. There's an immense range of readings in Unicode-formatted
polytonic Greek texts from the elementary to advanced levels, and there's a
very thorough grammar available as well as an extraordinarily complete
lexicon.
Grammar: http://www.gottwein.de/GrGr/GrGramm.htm
Readings in Greek: http://www.gottwein.de/Grie/Gr.Lektuere.htm (mostly
classical, but including some LXX and GNT)
Lexicon and general home page for Greek materials:
http://www.gottwein.de/graeca/start_graeca.htm
Clicking on a Greek word will take you at once to a German definition of
it, but a link in superscript to the right of that word will take you to
the LSJ definition at the Berlin Perseus mirror of the Tufts Perseus.
There's also a wealth of material on Greek mythology and history here.
Those who have even a little familiarity with German will find the site
very useful and I suspect that those with absolutely no German will find
the site more useful than they had expected.
