Though it is true that MPNY is typically translated in the LXX as APO
PROSWPOU (atypically APO *TOU* PROSWPOU), that only explains its form,
not its meaning. In semantic terms it presumably means the same as APO.
In the NT one finds APO PROSWPOU typically (if not in fact exclusively)
is citations from the LXX.
