Zerwick, IMHO, is a simplified version of an Analytical Greek Lexicon.
It only offers grammatical information mostly.
However, the LINGUISTIC AND EXEGETICAL KEY TO THE NT
by Cleon Rogers, redone in 1998, offers more
historical, cultural, and theological info along
with the grammatical. I will take Rogers over
Zerwick any time. I can always go to the Analytical
Greek Lexicon to get what Zerwick offers me.

Subject: [B-Greek] Zerwick's B-Greek & Grammatical Analysis
I have had a couple tools in my library for many years by Maximilian
Zerwick. One is titled Biblical Greek Illustrated by Examples. The other
is "A Grammatical Analysis of the Greek NT". It seems that about half the
time I don't quite get what he's saying, but I have a haunting feeling that
it's important for me to understand. I'm wondering how would you (Big
Greeks) recommend I use these tools as a pastor doing sermon exegesis?
Thank you.
