Greetings to the Two "Marks" and other B-Greekers,

My favorite Koine Greek version of "Jesus Loves Me" is the one given by
Bill Mounce at his website:

http://www.teknia.com/music/index.html

It goes like this:

hO IHSOUS ME AGAPAi
hOTI GRAFH KHRUSSEI
PAIDIA EISIN AUTWi
ASQENOUSI DUNATAI

NAI IHSOUS AGAPAi
NAI IHSOUS AGAPAi
NAI IHSOUS AGAPAi
hH GRAFH KHRUSSEI

You will also find there the Doxology:

TON QEON W DOXAZETE
EUDOKHSANTA DWREAN
TA KTISMAT' hA PEPOIHKEN
PATERA hUION KAI PNEUMA

Far be it from me to correct Dr. Mounce, yet I would amend the Textus
Receptus of both songs in the following ways:

"Jesus Loves Me" line 3: EISIN > ESTIN
"Doxology" line 2: EUDOKHSANTA > EULOGHSANTA

I feel, like some of the scribes of old, that these changes make better
sense of the text given the context.

Yours in His grace,
