[B-Greek] Re: use of "lord" in NT

Dear Oun, while KURIOS is nominative in Jn.20:28 it is being used as
vocative. Please note A.T.Robertson's comments in his 'Word Pictures of the
New Testament' on this verse,
"Not exclamation, but address, the vocative case though the form of the
nominative, a very common thing in the Koin,. Thomas was wholly convinced
and did not hesitate to address the Risen Christ as Lord and God. And Jesus
accepts the words and praises Thomas for so doing."  I would also add that
this address by Thomas is directed at Jesus as indicated by the dative 3rd
person pronoun immediately preceding this confession,  APEKRIQH QWMAS KAI
EIPEN AUTW,   ie. Thomas answered and said said *to him*. Best,
