It would be curious if it were parsed any other way, since in his text 
the ultima is accented with a circumflex. I'm not sure what text he is 
following, but both NA27 and UBS4 have IOUNIAN accented with a 
circumflex on the ultima. If one is using such a text, one will 
necessarily parse IOUNIAN as masculine accusative. This doesn't mean 
that the masculine is right, only that this was what the tagger was 
working with from the text.
