[B-Greek] Postpositive DE

John,
The part that's confusing you is that post-positive means that it moves
from the first position to the second or third if need be position not
of a "sentence", but of a clause or even phrase.

"Not seeing him now,
but believing you rejoice yada yada yada "

Verse 12 seems to me to be two conjuncted clauses with the verb of the
first clause being elided. So, while not at the beginning of a
sentence, the DE is still post-positive, in position 2, of it's clause.
