I'm teaching myself NT Greek and OT Hebrew. As I go through Pratico
& Van Pelt for the latter (Mounce for the former), I'd like to
double-dip the reading exercises by doing them in Greek as well. Can
anyone recommend a Greek dictionary/lexicon that would be useful in
working both the Septuagint _and_ the NT? Gingrich's Shorter
Lexicon? Mounce's Analytical Lexicon? Any advice would be most
appreciated.

If you're serious about continuing to read the NT in Greek, I suggest that
you "bite the bullet" and get the big magillah for NT -- BDAG. For the LXX
there is a separate lexicon as well. Of course for not much more money than BDAG
you can get L-S-J but it isn't geared specifically to the NT and patristics --
nor to the LXX.
