Thanks Michael,

That's a good site!

It's not quite what I'm looking for, though.

I've heard that in the past, ancient languages were taught with very small
grammar books, with very few exercises.

The teacher would present a chart like the ones found in any grammar book (or
the site you linked to) and would have the children chant and write on the
blackboard, vocabulary that fit the chart.

The teacher must of had a book or have memorized which words were regular and
have told the children which regular words to use.

I've also heard that a favorite punishment was conjugating verbs on the
blackboard. I don't want to use it as a punishment, though :-)

I'd really like to supplement our grammar book with drill of this type. I
want to make sure I'm not drilling irregular words though!!!

I'd like to be able to practice conjugating verbs, declining nouns, etc., by
making charts of words that I know follow the rules.

Hi Kathleen,
I searched the web and I am pleased to have found this site. It has clear
tables of the conjugations as one would find in a textbook. They are in PDF
format.

See for instance: "Conjugation Tables of Verbs and Verbals"
