I haven't done any particular study of this, but offhand it seems to me that
SUNERGEW would most regularly, if not exclusively, be intransitive. One may
cooperate WITH something or someone, but one does not "cooperate something /
someone". On the other hand, one does "eat meat", "drink water", "speak words."
