I think your confusion arises from the very effort of translating into
English. IDIOS is an **adjective** pertaining to belonging or being
related to a person/persons or thing/things. So it modifies that which
belongs or is related to someone or something, **not** the someone or
something to which it belongs or is related; it marks it as belonging
or being related to that someone or something. It will agree in number
with the person(s)/thing(s) belonging or being related to, not the
person(s) or thing(s) to which the word marked by IDIOS belongs or is
related to. In this instance IDIOS modifies PROFHTHS and marks it as
belonging or being related to AUTWN, further identified as KRHTES.
