In a phone conversation with Char Matejovsky of Polebridge Press today, she
indicated
(1) she would confirm with Bob Funk that this project can go ahead (she
thinks it will be no problem, so we can get started),
(2) we have permission to include the workbook in our project,
(3) the final product submitted to Polebridge should be a Word document,
with a page size of 8.5"x11",
(4) Polebridge will do the necessary conversion to PDF or HTML to make the
files freely available online,
(5) Polebridge would rather cooperate with a group of volunteers than enter
into a licensing agreement with a for-profit company,
(6) Polebridge will draft a contract to protect the interests of the
volunteers (promising, e.g., that the product will be freely available) as
well as Polebridge, to be sent to me (Ken Penner) and/or Carl Conrad.
(7) a Greek Unicode keyboard layout (for KeyMan) designed by Char is
available for volunteers (I will provide the URL in a later message).
