Chairein,

1 Peter 3:2 reads, "EPOPTEUSANTES THN EN FOBWi hAGNHN ANASTROFHN hUMWN."

I'm wondering about the phrase EN FOBWi. It seems to function almost
adverbially--modifying hAGNHN. This would yield a translation along the
lines of "your reverently chaste lifestyle."

Most English translations, however, place the ideas hAGNHN and FOBWi
coordinately. For example:
ESV respectful and pure conduct.
NASB chaste and respectful behavior.
ISV pure and reverent lives.
NIV purity and reverence

Does this syntax communicate coordinate ideas? Or is it an adverbial phrase?
or something else?

Thanks!
