Unless you are doing this for an article where the publisher requires the
use of SPIonic, I would recommend that you obtain one of several free,
yes, free unicode fonts which cover the area of polytonic Greek and
convert to that. The legacy fonts are about dead so why prolong the
misery. And -- DID I MENTION THAT SEVERAL ARE FREE! (Do a google search
for "Titus Cyberbit Basic" or "Cardo").
