The city-name is a neuter plural QUATEIRA, QUATEIRWN; the city in Lydia was
founded by Macedonian Greeks and the name might theoretically relate to the
rutting of pigs (QEAW), but I don't see this suggested anywhere and I would
guess that speculative etymological guesses are not worth much in response
to a question of this sort.
